At AJ | Alurralde, Jasper + Asoc., we support our clients throughout the creative process to help bring their ideas to life effectively. One example is our collaboration with the National Public Defender’s Office. The project began with the need to compile and document the lessons learned from the transformation of the Public Defender’s Office over the past 20 years in the form of a book. From the initial concept to the final print run, the process involved extensive collaboration, numerous meetings, and multiple rounds of revisions — all guided by a shared commitment to capturing, both visually and in writing, the efforts and achievements made in pursuit of a more equitable society.
The project involved several phases: project coordination led by our partner Mariana Jasper together with Karina Wroblewski; editing and proofreading carried out by the Multitud team; and editorial design and illustrations developed by our Art Director, Diego Zeballos, in collaboration with María Martínez.
In this regard, Diego explains: “Through the design and layout, we aimed to convey how society has evolved. We used organic shapes to represent society from different perspectives — vertically, from above, and through multiple viewpoints. We also incorporated silhouettes using the color palette assigned to each content section.”
We would like to thank Raquel Asensio, Julieta Di Corleto, and the entire team at the National Public Defender’s Office for developing the content and for trusting us to help bring this project to life.
A book not only documents — it communicates, leaves a lasting impact, and endures over time. To access the book, click here
